Full Description
I will meet you at your hotel in London and travel with you to the National Gallery, located in Trafalgar Square, one of the greatest art museums in the world.
The collection includes paintings from the thirteenth to the nineteenth century and presents the development of Western European art through the work of the most important masters.
During the visit I guide you through the gallery in a clear historical order, explaining the main artistic periods such as the Early Renaissance, the High Renaissance, the Baroque, the Rococo, and the age of Impressionism.
You will see works by artists such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio, Rembrandt, Velázquez, Turner, Constable, Monet, and Van Gogh, while I explain the stories behind the paintings and the historical context in which they were created.
The aim of the tour is not to see everything, but to understand the most important works and to learn how European art developed over the centuries.
Because this is a private tour, the visit can be adapted to your interests, whether you prefer Renaissance painting, British art, or the great masters of the nineteenth century.
